Presence
October 30, 2026 • Single
Powerful guitar textures meet modern electronic production in a track about the part of us that never truly grows up — the part that stays young, curious and free.
The Story
The Story Behind Presence
Presence continues the journey that began with Two Heartbeats and Until the Sun Rises.
If Two Heartbeats is about realizing how brief life is, Presence is about what we choose to keep alive inside ourselves.
Growing older does not have to mean growing old within. There can always be a place inside us that remains young, curious, free and open to the world.
The hand that appears throughout the song is deliberately left open to interpretation. For me, it can be music itself: something that has always been there, quietly guiding us through different moments, roads and changes.
And if a song, a feeling or a moment lights something inside you, don't keep it to yourself.
Pass it on.
Musically, Presence needed more energy than the previous tracks. The harder guitar elements blend with electronic production to reflect that sense of inner freedom, momentum and movement.
Some emotions cannot be whispered.
They need momentum.
Lyrics
[Verse 1]
I'll never grow up inside.
I'll stay young,
I'll stay free.
Hope is playing in my soul,
a quiet island
where everything turns clear.
I stop searching.
I find myself.
And suddenly,
I feel alive.
[Pre-Chorus]
There's a hand
that never lets me go.
It was there
through every step,
through every road.
I only had to stop
to finally see.
[Chorus]
When you hear our song...
light the flame within...
pass it on.
[Instrumental]
[Verse 2]
I'll never grow up inside.
I'll stay young,
I'll stay free.
I don't need to know
where the road will lead.
I hear the music.
I feel the moment.
And somewhere deep inside,
the light is still burning.
[Chorus]
When you hear our song...
light the flame within...
pass it on.
[Instrumental – emotional climax]
[Outro – soft, distant vocal]
When you hear our song...
light the flame within...
pass it on...
pass it on...
