The Story Behind Until the Sun Rises
Until the Sun Rises grew from the same emotional idea as Two Heartbeats, but I wanted to take that message into a different musical world.
I have always loved the sound and rhythm of the French language. It feels soft, emotional and naturally musical. I wanted to combine that with Swahili, whose rhythm and warmth bring a completely different energy.
The contrast between the two languages became one of the defining elements of the track: French brings intimacy and emotional depth, while Swahili adds rhythm, warmth and an African pulse.
Musically, I wanted to place all of this inside an Afro House world, with strong rhythm, repeating motifs and the feeling of moving through the night together until sunrise.
